Vacuum Lifters can be split into two categories                             Vacuum Tube Lifters & Vacuum Grippers

Vacuum Tube Lifters

Almost anything can be lifted easily, quickly and safely.

Lifting systems based on vacuum tube technology are often used in industry where fast repetitive handling of heavy loads is required. Using a single power medium – vacuum, to grip and lift heavy or awkward loads To grip a product, the operator simply rests the suction foot on the surface and it is gripped. Lightweight modern designs are used throughout the range.

Our solutions are backed by top level engineering, project and quality management including validation.

How it works

  • Grip – Simply land on a product to grip it
  • Lift – Gently pull up the control lever to lift
  • Lower – Gently press down the control lever to lower
  • Release – Push the lever down fully, and tilt the handle to release the load

Typical  Layouts

Vacuum Tube Lifters may be suspended from a variety of crane styles to allow the operator to cover the area where products to be lifted are handled. The most common cranes used are pictured below, wall or ceiling mounted versions of all of these cranes are also used when existing structures are suitable for supporting the crane.

Vacuum Grippers

Ideal for large heavy loads 100 – 10,000 kg

Typically used with larger over head cranes, these vacuum grippers do not always require a dedicated crane and can be hooked onto the hook of any working crane.

Particularly suitable for handling inherently stable loads like;

  • Coils
  • Glass Panels
  • Steel Sheets
  • Stone/Granite

Typical Features

  • Low maintenance / low cost of ownership
  • Suction plates adjustable along the cross bars
  • Single operator control / ergonomic by design
  • Fully adjustable suction plates to allow different size pieces to be handled
  • Safety as standard, vacuum reservoir and warning siren
  • Transport horizontally, vertically, or swivel
  • Fully adjustable suction plates to allow different sized materials to be gripped and supported
  • Dual vacuum circuit option for extra safety, suitable for construction sites
  • Vertical to horizontal tilt option
  • 90° or 180° rotation
  • Manual and powered options
  • Battery electric, mains or pneumatic powered
  • Well built, proven high quality
